The Opening Ceremony will serve as the formal launch of Malaysia Maritime Week 2026, setting the tone for the week and providing a high level platform to bring together government, industry and key maritime stakeholders.

The ceremony will feature formal opening proceedings, a keynote address, a signature opening montage and ceremonial gimmick, as well as the presentation of the Maritime Icon Award. The ceremony will also provide an opportunity for VVIPs to experience the MMW 2026 exhibition and engage with participating stakeholders.
