Join Us at Malaysia Maritime Week 2025!

Malaysia Maritime Week 2025 (MMW25) is hosted by the Ministry of Transport Malaysia (MOT) through its Maritime Division, with the support of the Malaysia Marine Department (MMD).

This year, MMW25 is held in conjunction with the International Maritime Organization (IMO)’s World Maritime Day, carrying the powerful theme:
Our Ocean, Our Obligation, Our Opportunity.

It’s a timely reminder that the ocean connects us all. It drives economies, feeds millions, and keeps global trade moving. But with that power comes responsibility — to protect it, to use it wisely, and to make sure it can sustain future generations.

At the heart of Malaysia’s commitment to this cause is the of Ministry of Transport Malaysia (MOT), which leads our national maritime policies and keeps Malaysia aligned with global progress. Working closely with them, the Malaysia Marine Department plays a crucial role in keeping our waters safe, secure, and environmentally sound— from regulating ships and ports to ensuring smooth navigation and protecting our coastlines.

Together, they are working to strengthen Malaysia’s position as a trusted, forward-thinking maritime nation.

We are also honoured to announce that the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Bin Ibrahim, will officiate the Opening Ceremony of Malaysia Maritime Week 2025. His presence underscores the government’s unwavering support and commitment to the maritime sector as a strategic pillar of national development.

The ocean is calling. The future is unfolding. Will you be part of it?

The maritime industry is going through a massive transformation. New technology, rising sustainability demands, and shifting global rules are pushing everyone to adapt. It’s no longer about keeping up; it’s about stepping up.

That’s what Malaysia Maritime Week 2025 is all about.

It’s where people from across the industry come together — decision-makers, regulators, innovators, operators, academics, and young professionals. It’s a space to exchange ideas, have real conversations, spark new collaborations, and explore what’s next for the maritime world.

Whether you’re building policy, running a fleet, designing solutions, or just starting out in your career — MMW25 is where you’ll find your people, your purpose, and your next move.

Our Ocean. Our Obligation. Our Opportunity.

We hope to see you there. Let’s shape the future together.
